Summertime
Nostalgia

My first rock album released June 20th, 2025. A love letter to 2000s rock and the warmth of summer, but a struggle with the loneliness it can bring. Summertime Nostalgia is available on all streaming platforms.

About Me

“I want people to be moved.”

When I first listened to the band classic “Declaration Overture” by Claude T. Smith, I was immediately enamored with the story that he told. He perfectly reflected the colorful yet bleak history of America while also expressing a great excitement and celebration for progress and moving forward. I’ve never forgotten that song and I never want to!

I remember telling myself when heard it, “I want to do that!” I want to do with my music to others what Declaration Overture did to me: to tell a story that words can’t express, move people in ways they didn’t know they could go, to make them feel what they’ve never felt and believe what they didn’t know was possible.

An Oregon native living in the beautiful Fort Collins, CO since 2020, I’m currently in my undergrad studying music composition at Colorado State University. I play trombone and guitar and perform regularly in ensembles. I love writing music for anything I can. I’ve had music performed for concert band, choir, marching band, and theater, and I don’t plan on stopping there. My grandparents, being writers themselves, were extremely influential in fostering my love for writing music and continue to be to this day.
